Milwaukee Magazine

Milwaukee Magazine has a new feature for this month’s publication…augmented reality. But is AR so new that Milwaukee Magazine needed that push this month? I must say, it’s definitely a nice feature, but it seems as though they put more money and more effort into this than they needed. If you carry around any sort of tablet, why would you want to carry around another piece just to see “hidden features” when this could all just be on the digital issue. Personally, I am a big fan of paper and tangible things (not to mention, I am one of the few designers I know that doesn’t own a tablet of any kind other than my iPhone), and would really just like to read a mag. AR is cool for outside places, but I say we keep it out of print. Thoughts?
