Coke’s Campaign the 2012 Olympic Games

This is fucking amazing. Hands down awesome. I’ve always had much respect for British music producer Mark Ronson because, well, he is a genius. Every since he and Amy Winehouse collaborated on Back to Black, I have been a huge fan. Not to mention that he has produced albums for Kaiser Cheifs, Daniel Merriweather, Lily Allen and Wale to name a few. So when Coca-cola asked British design company Somesuch & Co for a campaign at the 2012 Olympics, Mark Ronson name was abuzz. First, watch this video and then after the jump listen to the track. It is absolutely amazing.

The campaign introducing British music producer Mark Ronson as the creative linchpin of a global effort called “Move to the Beat” that will bring together music, youth and sport.

Mr. Ronson has been travelling around the world, working closely with five athletes to record them in training and pick up sounds to use in the new track. The song, still unnamed, will be released in March 2012.
